MoMoWo is an organisation which aims to promote and raise awareness of women’s work within design professions. Describing itself, this organisation uses a specific word: BRIDGE meaning that is not only a promoting team but also a spatial and temporal link between women.
I researched a way to design an identity that could combine the two concepts: Design and women, but I felt that gentle lines didn’t fit an organisation that wants to be in the front row on a battle against disparities.
Sheikh Zayed, in particular her bridge, was my muse because one of the most important project of one of the most rewarded female designers. The minimal style was used to recreate the sketching part of a project and the colour palette portrays a strong and independent woman.
